New Signing: Guard Cortez Mosley

On Thursday, the 4 Bears Roar of the TBL announced the signing of guard Cortez Mosley to a professional contract.

The 6'6" guard from Peoria, IL spent last season in the TBL playing for the Logansport Iron Horses where he averaged 18.6 points per game along with 6.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists. This reunites Mosley with his Logansport teammates guard Rob Phinisee, guard Taevon Horton, and guard Jimmy Moore who was lead by current Roar head coach Wayne Casey. The Iron Horses used this squad of guards to finish runner-up to a Conference Championship in the playoffs and close to an appearance in the TBL Championship Game.

"Listen, not many guys have the versatility that this young man has," said Roar head coach Wayne Casey. "He can defend, he can score, and he'll empty the trash cans after the game."

Mosley joined the Roar on Sunday and began workouts and practices with the team this week. Mosley will not dress this weekend against the Great Falls Electric but will be on the court next weekend against the Grant County Redtails.
