Roar Improve To 6-0, Sweep The Desert Dogs
The 4 Bears Roar continue their streak with two big wins at home over the Mesquite Desert Dogs.
On Friday evening, the Roar were off to rocky start. Shots weren't falling and the team from Nevada was creating turnovers left and right. But the Roar got a needed spark from the bench in forward Jimario Rivers. The Roar would end up running away with the game late in the 4th quarter, leading by as many as 24. The game however would end 108-96. Rivers had 23 points for the Roar, with an impressive 20 point game from the "Lakota Warrior" Alejandro Rama.
Saturday night, the Roar brought the heat. They would lead by 10 after the 1st quarter and 11 at the end of the half. Guard Rob Phinisee had 12 points at halftime as the Roar went into the locker room. The game would end with 111-88 victory for the Roar, improving to 6-0, continuing to be undefeated.
The Roar will be at home next weekend, March 20-21 against the Tri-Cities SunDevils of Washington state. Game time is 7:00pm CT. Get advance tickets by clicking the 'TICKET' tab above.
