The 4 Bears Roar, a professional basketball team in the TBL officially announced today the final roster for the 2026 Roar Preseason Training Camp presented by Dynamic Gaming Solutions, in Las Vegas on February 6-7.

After months of searching for the top players in the world, along with multiple combines and tryouts across the country held by the TBL, and the 2026 TBL Draft, the 4 Bears Roar have assembled a roster of 21 players to take into training camp. The Roar utilized their large basketball operations staff, lead by Roar general manager Derrick Hammonds, to find these players, including head coach Wayne Casey, assistant coach Will Collins, Director of Scouting Trey Stephens, and Director of Basketball Operations Ward Hilger.

"We're really looking forward to Las Vegas and training camp this week," said Trey Stephens, the Roar Director of Player Personnel and Scouting.

The Roar bring in players with great achievements such as guard Rob Phinisee, who helped lead the Logansport Iron Horses (TBL) to a semi-finals appearance in the 2025 TBL Playoffs. Phinisee also received the 2025 TBL Rookie of the Year Award. Guard-forward DeShawn Munson comes in with three championship rings, courtesy of his time as a Playoff MVP and 2x TBL All-Star for the Potawatomi Fire (TBL). Guard-forward Tavin Cummings won a TBL championship in 2022 with the Shreveport Mavericks and averaged 25 points a game in 2025 with the Wenatchee Bighorns (TBL). Cummings was also named a 2025 TBL All-Star. LaGerald Vick, the former standout at Kansas, comes to the Roar after impressive seasons in New Zealand and two All-Star seasons in Mexico.  Kendarrius Hamilton, the 6'10" forward from Alabama was an all-star for a season in Mongolia. Center Tyjhai Byers, the 7'0" native from Maryland, was one of the top rebounders in Australia in 2025 and was a finalist for the Defensive Player of the Year Award after leading the league in blocks. Overall, the Roar have brought in 10 players with high-level NCAA Division-I experience including 6'10" forward Brandon Watkins (West Virginia) and guard Taevon Horton (West Virginia).

"It's time to see what we can really put together," said Roar general manager Derrick Hammonds. "The entire league is talking about us...trying to see what we're doing."
